- from our Chairman, Richard Kleiner
As the leaves begin to turn and we prepare to gather in the vibrant city of Montréal over 18–20 September for the XLNC Autumn Conference 2025, now is a perfect time to reflect on a year that continues to exemplify the strength, diversity, and innovation of our global alliance.
In this issue of the XLNC magazine, we are proud to warmly welcome our newest member firms, who bring with them a wealth of local expertise and fresh global perspectives. Their presence strengthens our reach and enriches the shared knowledge that defines this alliance. We look forward to meeting many individuals from these firms in Montréal, where new collaborations will surely begin.
The XLNC spring conference in Monaco set a high standard. Against the stunning Mediterranean backdrop, we reconnected with longstanding colleagues, welcomed new faces, and shared perspectives that deepened our cross-border collaboration. Sessions sparked meaningful dialogue on topics from sustainability in professional services to the evolving landscape of digital compliance, and the energy was palpable. View some pictures and read about the key highlights in this edition. If Monaco reminded us of the value of in-person exchange, Montréal promises to build on that momentum with an agenda rich in insight, strategy, and opportunity.
A new XLNC Focus Group has been established, read what to expect from the newly set up Employment Law Focus Group. Focus Group Chairs also give a glimpse of what to look forward to during the sessions in Montréal.
As usual, this edition features a selection of thought-provoking articles authored by XLNC member firm experts. These contributions reflect the depth of expertise and forward-thinking approaches that our alliance is known for.
We look forward to an engaging, energising conference in Montréal this September, and the opportunity to share insights, strengthen relationships, and chart our path forward together. Whether you're joining us in person or keeping in touch from afar, thank you for being part of our dynamic and steadily growing global XLNC community.
Warm regards,Richard KleinerXLNC Chairman
