The countdown is on! In just a few short weeks, XLNC members from around the world will gather in one of Canada’s most exciting cities for our Autumn Conference – and we can’t wait to welcome you to Montréal.
From 18 to 20 September, we’ll be hosted at the stylish Hotel William Gray, right in the heart of Old Montréal, where historic charm meets modern comfort. The setting alone promises something special, but it’s the people and the programme that truly make this event one to look forward to.
We’re delighted to have Michael Weidokal as our keynote speaker. A globally respected economist and founder of International Strategic Analysis (ISA), Michael has an extraordinary track record of helping business leaders and governments anticipate economic and geopolitical shifts. His insights are always sharp, thought-provoking, and timely – and we know his session will spark plenty of discussion.
The rest of the programme is just as engaging. Our Focus Group meetings will cover a wide range of practice areas: Best Practices, M&A, Technology, Audit & Assurance, Legal, Tax, and – making its debut – Employment Law. These sessions are always a good way to compare notes, catch up on what’s happening in other markets, and share what’s worked (or hasn’t).
There’ll be two social dinners and plenty of time throughout the event to connect, whether you’re seeing familiar faces or meeting new people for the first time. No matter how many XLNC events you’ve attended, we hope you’ll feel right at home.
So pack a few layers (September evenings in Québec can be crisp!), bring your curiosity, and get ready for a memorable couple of days of connection and conversation.

February is a magical time to be in Dubai. The weather is simply perfect – warm and pleasant, with average daytime temperatures around 24°C (75°F), ideal for enjoying both the conference and the city's incredible outdoor attractions. Escape the winter chill and bask in the sun-drenched Arabian Peninsula.

Dubai is a city of superlatives, offering a breathtaking blend of futuristic architecture, rich culture, and thrilling adventures. Your trip isn't just about the conference; it's a chance to explore a world of wonder. We will organise a series of optional excursions and activities that will allow you to experience the best of this magnificent city, while continuing to network with your XLNC colleagues and peers.

Ascend to the top of the world: Visit the iconic Burj Khalifa, the tallest building on the planet, and take in a panoramic view of the cityscape from the observation decks on levels 124, 125, and 148.
Embrace the desert: Experience a traditional desert safari with thrilling dune bashing, camel rides, and a mesmerizing sunset over the sand dunes, followed by a delicious Bedouin-style BBQ dinner under the stars.
Step back in time: Explore the historical side of Dubai with a visit to the Al Fahidi Historic District. Wander through its narrow alleyways, discover traditional wind-tower houses, and take a traditional abra boat ride across Dubai Creek to explore the vibrant souks.
Discover nature's wonder: Stroll through the breathtaking Dubai Miracle Garden, home to over 150 million flowers arranged in stunning displays, or visit the indoor rainforest at The Green Planet.
